Here are some comments and stories from our visitors and clients:
Thomas and Birke, both German
After a rather tough move into South Africa, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that everything had been taken care of. The immigration company we used was very useful, since they already knew all the hurdles we would come up against later.
The paperwork was immense, and we wondered why some papers were asked for, but now that we are looking to buy a guesthouse, we understand it was all very necessary and has saved us so much stress, time and money.
We would never in a million years have been able to do all this on our own.
Francis and Jacques, British and Mauritian
The first immigration company we used was hopeless, and Immigration South Africa managed to sort out their mistakes and also get us our permits in such a short time! With the right information in our hands we made a smooth move to South Africa. The quality of life and wonderful people have made it all worthwhile. Don’t believe what you read in the papers.
Nathanael and Luda, South African and Russian
After returning to South Africa, my partner and I struggled to find an immigration partner or service provider, because as a South African, I know how difficult it can be going to Home Affairs yourself. She was still overseas and we needed to organize a life-partner permit, since we were not yet married. After much calling around we finally found Immigration South Africa’s website and called them, and things went smoothly from there.
We’re happily settled and both working now – thank you South Africa for having such a good process for allowing foreigners into our country!
Why not tell us your story? Whatever your immigration experience to South Africa, it’s worth putting it down for others to read and learn from.
